Llansteffan is a beautiful quaint village set at the tip of the Towi River and Carmarthen Bay. The sandy beaches nestled below the castle offer swimming and relaxation. The virtually traffic free country lanes make this area ideal for cycling. For the walker Carmarthenshire offers coastal walks and country walks. Carmarthen (Wales' oldest city) and ancestral home to Merlin of King Arthur's Legends, offers most social and cultural activities. The Pantyrathro International Hostel provides dorm and double room accommodation and also 3 new ensuite units of 6, 8 and 12 beds.
