Hillside Farm is a Georgian farmstead in a conservation area just steps away from Hadrian's Wall. It is located in the small village of Boustead Hill, near the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and RSPB nature reserve. The farm has stunning views over the Solway Firth Marshes towards Scotland. Hadrian's Wall National Trail and Hadrian's Cycleway pass right by. Hillside farm is a working farm and the fourth generation of a farming family welcomes you to stay in the bunkbarn or in the B&B rooms in the farmhouse. The Bunkbarn is a recent conversion of the farms Georgian stable block. It has cooking slabs, cutlery and crockery and a 2 ring gas stove. There are hot showers and towels and sleeping bags can be hired if required. There is no heating in the barn. You can arrange delivery of shopping via the farmhouse and with notice you can eat a full english breakfast at the farmhouse. Walking, cycling and family groups are most welcome.
