This former byre, in the farmyard of Village Farm, is in the picturesque village of Brompton-on-Swale itself. It is an excellent stop-off point for the Coast to Coast Walk, which is just ½ mile away at Catterick Bridge. The historic town of Richmond is just 3 miles away. Sleeping accommodation for 12 people, with bunk, pillow and duvet (£1 a night) provided, is on the first floor as are the toilet and shower on a 10p meter. On the ground floor there is a lounge area, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There is electric light included in the cost. Cooker, fridge and microwave are on a meter. Pans, crockery and cutlery are provided. Washing and drying facilities are available on request. There is a second toilet in another building.
