Situated in the centre of Tavistock, the bunkhouse nestles in to the Dartmoor Hills close to the Tamar Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Tavistock Bunkhouse is within easy reach of the Devon Coast to Coast Cycle Route and the Tavi Woodlands downhill mountain bike trails. It is a perfect destination to stop over if you are walking the coastal path, or to use as a base while you take part in outdoor activities in Dartmoor from canoeing to cycling and climbing. The bunkhouse is located in the grounds of the Union Pub which offers breakfast, packed lunches and dinner in addition to a meeting room and pool table.

The self-contained hostel accommodation includes three separate bunk rooms, sleeping up to 20 people, a drying room, toilet and shower facilities, a secure cycle storage area and a "wash down" area for cleaning muddy bikes. Bedding & Towels are provided.
