Raise cottage is situated on the summit of Dunmail Raise, close to Raise Beck. This stunning location provides superb mountain views and immediate access to the mountains for walkers and other outdoor enthusiasts. Nestling on the slopes of Seat Sandal, it is a prime location to explore the Central Fells, probably the best location for your ascent of Helvellyn. Adjacent to the Coast to Coast path and close to many local mountain bike routes, we cater for all.
Family-run, we offer bunk and breakfast accommodation for individuals and groups, with evening meals by arrangement.The accommodation comprises of two 12 bed bunk rooms, a dining room with wood burning stove and television, free WiFi, and a drying room.
