A route along the Lower Arun Valley through a varied landscape of beach, remote villages, riverside meadows and the South Downs, rich in evidence of various phases of British History.

The Way crosses the South Downs Way National Trail and the Monarch's Way and is partly coincident with the Wey-South Path.
