A route through varied scenery including riverside, heathland, woodland and downland, taking in Corfe Castle, the Purbeck Hills and the dramatic Dorset coast. The Purbeck Way West (12.5 miles and waymarked) leads from the Purbeck Way at Wareham to Coombe Keynes with a loop to Lulworth. Both link with the Wareham Forest Way (13 miles and waymarked) at Wareham. See Stour Valley Way (Dorset).
