Whittle Wander

Starting from Whittle le Woods just north of Chorley it takes in canal, river and the beautiful countryside of the West Pennine Moors, reaching the Darwen valley. The route is the brainchild of Trevor Headley who is something of a specialist in this area, with several Ribble valley publications and routes.
