The 90 mile Dorset Jubilee Trail was established to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Ramblers' and was opened in 1995. The route was compiled and surveyed by members of the Ramblers Dorset Area with the co-operation of the county and parish councils, landowners and farmers. Plans for 25th anniversary celebratory walks in September 2020 did not take place due to Covid-19 restrictions. The good news is that the Guide to the Trail has been revised and published. Funds raised by sales of the Guide Book are used to fund improvements to the Trail.
The fourth edition of The Dorset Jubilee Trail is available. The Guide contains a description of the route with maps showing the route for each short section. Features of interest are described alongside the route description. The guide can be obtained by emailing the Jubilee Guide Sales Contact. The usual price is GBP9.50 including p&p but see their Special Offer.
