This book describes a way-marked coastal walking trail of ninety-two miles from Caernarfon to Porthmadog via Clynnog Fawr, Nefyn, Aberdaron, Abersoch, Llanbedrog, Pwllheli and Criccieth.
Details are also given of a link route from the Menai Bridge since the trail now forms part of a network of walking trails round the whole coastline of Wales.
Starting off with flat routes mostly suitable also for cycles and wheelchairs, the trail becomes more rugged and remote as it uses parts of the ancient pilgrimage route down to Bardsey Island, which lies off the south west tip of the peninsula.
The second half of the trail passes through a number of resorts and although hilly to start with gradually becomes flatter.
