The Peddars Way is the best preserved Roman road in East Anglia. Its northern section, from Castle Acre to Holme next the Sea is a clearly defined road and bridleway except for a very short section around Ringstead.
This older style map shows suggestions for 8 walking routes around this scenic area, including some of the most popular, unpaved stretches of the Peddars Way. Walks range from 1¼ - 3¾ hrs and include Holme next the Sea, Thornham, Sedgeford, Snettisham, Old Hunstanton, Ken Hill, Shepherd's Port, Sandringham and Great Bircham.
