A series of short breaks in some of the villages and towns of the Ribble Valley. With accommodation, tourist information and footpath guides for two walks from each village.
The villages are chosen as they have accommodation and good local shorter walks that the book describes, so providing weekends in the Valley. It covers Ribchester, Hurst Green, Waddington, Dunsop Bridge, Settle, Gisburn, Chatburn, Downham, Clitheroe, Whalley, Sabden. Settle while not in the Ribble Valley, is still in the Valley of the Ribble.
Includes places to stay eat and drink. The maps needed are Explorers 41 and 287 (same as for the Trevine Trail and Villages of the Valley).
