The new map shows the entire length of Strangford Lough at a scale of 1:25 000 (4cms to 1Km) on one side while the reverse has detailed maps of Newtownards, Castleward, Mount Stewart and Delamont and Scrabo Country Parks. And one very important quality for a map of Northern Ireland is - it's waterproof!
The Strangford Lough Activity Map is part of a series of maps produced by Land & Property Services under the banner 'Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland'. Other maps in the series are The Mournes, The Sperrins, Glens of Antrim and Lough Erne. All activity maps can be purchased from any good bookstore, outdoor activity shop or on line at www.osni.gov.uk.
