The famous Packhorse Service has been serving Walkers and Cyclists across this route for many years and is ideally based at Kirkby Stephen close to the trail’s half way mark. The Packhorse provides a comprehensive range of services including self guided accommodation packages of typically 6- 8 (half walk) or 13-16 nights (full walk). However any numbers of nights over any stages of the route can be catered for.
