Nominations for the vacant posts on the National Executive Committee have now closed.

Gordon Stone was unopposed as Editor of Strider. Ken Falconer has been acting as temporary Editor and will be producing the next two issues while Gordon finds his way round the job. Gordon will be assisted by Kathy Rogers.

Matt Parker was nominated as Communications and Publicity Officer to replace Julian White. Matt has been co-opted onto the NEC and will be gradually moving into the role.

Richard May was unopposed as IT Officer. Richard is already part of the IT team but he has commitments with the Ramblers until March so will not take up the post until after the AGM. Chris Burrell was unopposed as Challenge Events Coordinator. to replace Tim Glenn whose term of office expires at the AGM. Chris will be taking on the role in March.

We still need a Local Groups Officer and a Treasurer so if anyone is interested please contact the Secretary.

The posts of Membership Secretary and Environment Officer are still vacant as well but these roles are going to change and will be re-advertised soon.
