We've been contacted by the York Branch Coldstream Guards Association about their Memorial March which is taking place on Sunday 8th September 2013 on the North Yorkshire Moors.

The event is a fund-raising medium length walk of 12 miles, starting and finishing at the Visitor Centre at Sutton Bank near Helmsley, with a circular route via four manned checkpoints. Each checkpoint is named after a member of the regiment who has been killed in action in recent years and a photograph and brief biography of the individual will be on display. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Current Operations Casualty Fund of the Coldstream Guards.

Entry is by pre-booking only and you can enter as an adult individual, under-18 with adult chaperone, or as a mixed group of three or more. All walkers will receive a commemorative T- Shirt and medal and we are hoping that serving members of the regiment will be in attendance to give their support.
