On the 28th to the 30th of May 2016 the Dorset Group of the Long Distance Walkers Association (LDWA) are hosting the annual LDWA 100 mile walk. 500 participants will gather to attempt to complete that distance within 48 hours. This film is a brief introduction to Dorset and some of the highlights of the 100 route.
The video has been produced by Rob Jayne, a member of the Dorset Group. It will be updated during the event with interviews and footage e.g. of the start and at CPs, with the final version again made available after the event on YouTube (there will be no DVD!). The music was made specially by a Dorset musician and his wife. The intro piece is the same as the outro piece and he’s dubbed the tune ‘The Dorset Hundred March’.
