We were very sorry to learn that Sir John Johnson, our President from 1996 until 2016, died on the 15th of October, aged 88.  

Sir John was a highly respected President and will be remembered by many of our members.   Among many other things, Sir John officiated on behalf of the LDWA at the openings of the UK sections of the E2 E-Route and E9 E-Route .

There will be a funeral service for Sir John at St Mary's Church, Old Amersham, noon, on Friday 26th October.   Sincere condolences, on behalf of the Association, go to his family.
