WEBSITE CLOSURE NOTIFICATION AND OUTLOOK.COM UPDATE
This message is being posted on the LDWA national website and on LDWA social media
Website
We will be undertaking extensive maintenance on the LDWA website next Tuesday, 25 June, from 09:00 until 18:00.
During part or all of this time, the National website, https://www.ldwa.org.uk/ and almost all the Local Group websites will be unavailable, This will affect both the public and the admin websites.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you.
outlook.com
We have had reports that some LDWA bulk emails are being treated by outlook.com as spam. This means that if you have an "@outlook.com" email address, you may be missing critical emails from LDWA.
If this applies to you, please log onto your outlook.com email account via a web browser. Open your "spam" or "junk" email folder and mark any LDWA emails in there as "not spam" (there will be an option on you browser toolbar to do this). This will move the emails back into your inbox and ensure that future emails are correctly delivered.
Unfortunately, we have checked all the spam protection settings on the LDWA mail-server and there are no further steps we can take centrally to stop this happening. It appears to be a random occurrence but if sufficient outlook.com users mark LDWA emails in this way, outlook.com will eventuially "learn" that they are not spam and will globally stop flagging them as such.
