Website latest update

The refreshed website has been live since Wednesday evening now.   It’s been a bit of a roller-coaster as we dealt with a number of bugs which emerged as soon as the site revealed its new face to the world.   Most of those have been dealt with, but if you spot anything else that doesn’t work properly, please email me at internet@ldwa.org.uk

Thank you for your patience as we worked through everything and also thanks to those who have sent comments – both positive and critical, they are all helpful.

One thing we are aware of is the image on our home page.   Not everyone likes it, but we did struggle a bit to find something that really encapsulated the essence of the LDWA.  

So, if you have a great photo, taken at an LDWA event or social walk, please email it to us for consideration at internet@ldwa.org.uk (and please copy in our Chair at chair@ldwa.org.uk).   Note that ideally we want lots of happy smiling faces on there, but if your photo includes people, make sure they are comfortable with potentially appearing in public on our home page.

Hopefully the refreshed look will keep us up to date for a number of years to come, and that you broadly like our new appearance.
