South Dartmoor Bunkhouse is situated in the centre of Buckfastleigh, on the southern flanks of the Dartmoor National Park. This magnificent area of 360 sq. miles offers a range of outdoor pursuits including walking, climbing, caving, canoeing, mountain biking and horse riding. Within short walking distance of the bunkhouse are five pubs, shops, cash point, fish & chip shop / restaurant, pizza, kebabs, Chinese and tea shop. The non-smoking bunkhouse has a common room with open plan newly refurbished fully equipped kitchen. A separate area contains the shower, toilet, and washbasin. There is a store / changing area and a drying room. Upstairs has wooden bunks for 16 people in a refurbished area. Electricity is by a £1 slot meter.
