Two Moors Way (Devon Coast to Coast): Stowford Bridge to Scorriton

Devon

23 km / 14 miles
A low-level alternative to the high moorland crossing of the Ivybridge to Holne section. This alternative section leaves the main route at Stowford Bridge and uses minor lanes and paths to reach the old Lydia Bridge beyond South Brent. The course of the River Avon (known locally as the Aune) is followed to Avon Dam reservoir after which a short, unsigned, moorland crossing leads to further lanes and field paths to re-join the main route at Scorriton.
