This former water mill - built around 1600 - provides the perfect antidote to a day spent exploring Scarborough’s many attractions. Only two miles from the hectic town centre, its wooded riverside location attracts herons, foxes, kingfishers, deer and, occasionally, otters. This hostel has good facilities for children but is also close to the Cleveland way making it a great stop off for walkers.
