Wild Goose Lodge is a spacious venue in a beautiful countryside setting next to the Gloucester to Sharpness canal. It is nestled in the hamlet of Shepherd's Patch in the Severn Vale on the edge of the Cotswolds, close to the Forest of Dean and on the doorstep of world famous Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust. The flexible layout can be configured to suit either small, medium or large groups. In total there are 10 bedrooms ranging from large King-sized double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms to family rooms to bunk rooms. The dining room seats up to 50, catering is available and there is a light and airy self catering kitchen. There is a large lounge stuffed with sofas with views of the wildlife garden and a well stocked games and TV room with table tennis table and Wii. There is a large separate meeting room, a drying room, cycle store and ample parking. In the immediate surrondings there is the canal, numerous footpaths including the Severn Way Footpath, National Cycle Route 41 and a CAMRA Award winning pub down the lane and a cafe on the canal.
