I have entered to run the 50 miler, but I have a dodgy knee that only allows me to run short distances at the moment. I am now thinking of fast walking it because my knee does not protest when walking. After walking 60 miles of the HOS100 I think I would enjoy it more if I walk because I have already ran it in the recce run. More time on feet = more enjoyment.
