Yes, well done to the marshals, but also the participants in one of the wettest and coldest events I 've ever done in the South. It would be interesting to know the exact distance, including the diversion over the A3.

Thanks to all the organisers and the checkpoint helpers on the 2011 Punchbowl Marathon. It can't have been much fun for those standing outside in the cold at the first and last checkpoints! Despite the persistent drizzle and the mud we had a great day out, and were welcomed back with a plate of baked beans and excellent homemade soup - much appreciated!
