Another year, another Dawdle - can there possibly be another event that so reliably produces overcast conditions? Happily, there was little in the way of actual rain this time and even the occasional sunny interval. Better still, the mild winter has resulted in a bumper crop of daffodils even with the move to an earlier date in March.
As ever the organisation was efficient and the food tasty and reasonably portioned - the flapjacks in particular always go down well, and the cheesecake at the finish was the nicest I've had in ages.
