I've done Nijmegen before too and the advice given is right. The marches start from the same point each day in a sort of four leafed clover configuration, so that you do a different route every day. I'm sure you will be able to pitch a tent but you won't have to carry it every day!

John I've done Nijmegen several times but not camped. Correct me if I'm wrong but I get the impression that you believe you might have to camp in a different place at the end of each day's walk. You don't. Once you arrive in Nijmegen you pitch your tent (at a normal quite civilised camp site) and stay there for each of the days that you are walking.
Most of the time you'll be out socialising anyway (both on the walk and post walk). I haven't been for some 13 years now but can assure you that it is the most fantastic experience ever.

I've applied to take part in this year's 4 Day March, the 50km per day option.

Has anyone camped on this event? My idea (so far) is to take seiously light-weight kit and camp at the overnight stops. Has anyone tried this? Any advice is most welcome.
