Have you read the thread "Sickness on overnight walks" that attracted some discussion here a couple of months ago? - it sounds as though your problem is a pretty similar one (and, if nothing else, demonstrates that you are far from alone in feeling this way).

Has anybody or is any body experiencing upset stomach after a certain distance into a long distance event, i had to pull out of the ldwa 100 this year because of feeling bloated/slightly sicky feeling and cannot eat, this has been getting worse over the last couple of years, i did the wenlock 50 last weekend and was fine till craven arms at the 26ish stage, i ate quite alot there as checks were few and far between but from then on i was uncomfortable, i tried coke to settle stomach it helped but didnt clear problem, i managed to finish but i doubt i,d have finished if it had been much further,any advice out there please
