Yes, a good hilly course with plenty of friendly support from London group and helpers. Considering the weather forecast, we were lucky to get away with one only heavy thunderstorm, but that one did its best to make up for the others we should have had.

The hot soup and the ploughman?s plate at the end were very welcome, and so was the (fresh!!) fruit salad. Thank you, London Group.

Today's challenge started with a thunderstorm which cleared before the start, leaving us with a very nice morning. Going underfoot was very wet. In the early afternoon the rain & thunderstorms returned giving us a good soaking and flooding some roads. The storms had moved away by the time we got to the finish at Pealake and the sun came out again as we made our way home.
Many thanks to the organisers for such a good walk. Pity I happened to print out the 2012 route description....
