A belated thanks to everyone in Mid Wales Group for organising another lovely event, complete with seasonal rain, mud and well-marked routes across the wilds. If you haven't been to this part of the world, have a look at one of the following to see what all the fuss is about, especially in winter conditions:

Considering that the building of the reservoirs involved the City of Birmingham securing a compulsory purchase order on 180 square kilometres of the Cambrian Mountains, it's particularly kind of the Mid Wales group to welcome participants from the Heart of England. Perhaps you'd like to have 180km2 of Brum in return?

The event was held on Saturday 3rd January, with just over 100 entries.
The weather was rather wet but dried up as the day went on.
Hope everyone enjoyed Jimmys hotdogs at Henfron Farm.
The organising team of volunteers would like to thank everyone for coming to the event held in the Lakeland of Wales.
Entry fee money goes to the local St Johns Ambulance Service.
We hope to see you all again in 2016.
