Well done everyone who took part in the 12th Tour des Marches, lots of stories of people achieving much more than they thought they could, some aches and pains, some blisters, lots of smiles. There are quite a few photos on our Facebook page, also report and finishers list to follow.

With online and postal entries we are nearly full. So if you are a regular and intend to be there on September 8th you may need to get a move on.

Thanks David, glad that you enjoyed it. Yes we were lucky with the weather once again! Not sure about next year yet, 10 seems like a nice round figure to finish on, however, Village Hall is booked just in case!

Once again, the TDM was a highlight event of the year. Of course, Phil always books a good day's weather for the event and it turned out to be a perfect day for walking or running.
This really is a great event. The TDM gets a great mix of entrants from the fastest to the most relaxed and the event feels welcoming for all. Friendly volunteers, well stocked checkpoints with good fuel choices, and overall team organisation are all 10/10 and the lasagne at the finish tastes better every year. The view of Ragleth and Caradoc from Ridgeway hill at around mile 23 makes the day complete.
Thank you Phil and thank you to your team - I'd offer to help but then I couldn't enter the TDM next year!

Well done everyone who took part and completed 12, 18, or 26 miles of the 10th Tour yesterday, another nice day and lots of happy faces.

Thank you to all of the volunteers, a great bunch of people.

Pictures etc on Facebook page, finishers list will appear as soon as I get back from the IOM next Monday.

Will there be an 11th?

Apologies to anyone trying to contact me by telephone, it seems as though we have a problem, we can hear the phone ringing but we can't answer it! Hopefully sorted by Thursday evening.
You may be able to find answers to your questions by looking at the event rules on www.wistanstowwalk.blogspot.com

Just to reiterate we are full and there will be no entries on the day, feel free to turn up and help though! :-)

Just a word of warning for those of you who would like to enter the above challenge walk, we are also accepting postal entries and as such the entry stands at 110 at the moment and not 88 as per sientries website.
Entry forms will be available at this weekends WOW.
