An as yet (August 2016) unsorted problem with the Lune Valley Ramble (17 mile riverside path following the River Lune between Lancaster and Kirkby Lonsdale) following the severe flooding of December 2015:

Footbridge turned over at 45 degrees and currently unusable without an obvious alternative other than making use of the B6254 between Arkholme and Newton. Location is a loop of the Lune one third of a mile north north east of Higher Broomfield farm, SD 597732.

Kirkby Lonsdale tourist info hadn't had reports (I enquired before my walk). Now informed that "We had been advised that warning notices had been placed at both ends of the walk and on key 'entry' points."

Since the path is not a National Trail and is between National Parks (the newly extended Yorkshire Dales NP boundary is the Lune, but to the north of Kirkby Lonsdale), it may be some time before the bridge is righted or replaced.
