Just a quick note re Sunday, the concrete where the cars will be parking is extremely slippery when wet if you could ask everyone to take care please .

The route from Castle Bolton has been changed from that used in previous years and there is an additional checkpoint. See the Nidderdale Group website for details and a map. Note that as you approach Carperby on a farm track you come to a PRIVATE farm yard, DO NOT GO THROUGH IT, the public footpath is to the left.

It is essential that you only park where directed in the yard at Askrigg. The site is now owned by Bainbridge Vets who require 24 hour 7 day per week access in case they have to deal with an emergency.
