Decathlon liners have rubberised tips on thumb and first finger that work a treat. Cheap as chips also.

Anybody found a reliable way to get touch screens (generally smart phones but also touch-screen GPS devices) to respond (when you want them to!) while wearing glove liners ? I've tried gentle spectacle-cleaning solutions on both device and gloves, but it's hit and miss (mostly miss, ie no response).

Wikipedia says "Some touchscreens use ordinary or specially coated gloves to work ..." and yes there are 'touch screen gloves', but they're expensive (no, really ?) and my £4.99 glove liners already do their primary function (keeping hands warm except when wet and/or in high wind-chill) remarkably well.
