What a wonderful walk and brilliantly organised event. The coastal views were magnificent. The veggie option casserole at the supper stop must rate as the best check point food I?ve ever had. Well done to the cook and to all the fantastic volunteers. Well done Dorset LDWA.

Thank you Dorset for a excellent well organised event, and of course a big thank you to all the volunteers. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening meal stew, and at the finish, after a hot shower and kip, the bacon & egg rolls.

Ideal weather conditions. And a good percentage of finishers - more than 90%. But the event wasn't "walking for softies"

A few photos from Checkpoint 1

Weathers considerably better than it was on the marshals walk ;-)
