I did not know that walkers use their own support vehicles.
Cyclists alone never do as far as I know (certainly not for long distance rides). I have not heard of it at least, but it is quite a good idea for a hand cyclist, that I am, too.

Does Brian think he would have found the journey impossible without his support vehicle?! He might not have got so far?

Fascinating journals, Brian. Interesting that it is the deteriorating condition of one's feet which limits mileage, not fitness.
