It appears from entrants' comments that many fail to ever get our Group's challenge event web pages they are seeking due, I believe, to the now confusing layout of the LGT.

When the web site was re-skinned the prominent dark blue menu strip relating to the National got added right at the top of the page. The local group's menu, in a subdued green, appears below the banner and is not so readily apparent.

So what is seemingly happening (from conversations with entrants) is that they go to our home page - click on the prominent 'Challenge Walks' at the top which then takes them to the National Page not to the local group challenge walks they expect. Problem is that many never actually see the web page and thus miss important information we place and update there.

The LGT is a template for local groups. I have no problem with a link to the National but as designed it dominates and is counter-productive. A workable solution would be to delete the dark blue menu strip and replace it with a simple link to 'National LDWA'. This would avoid confusion since the 'Challenge Walk' menu would only appear once - and importantly relate to the Group's challenge walks.
