Discussion Forum - Website Development - Arrghh! Log in to see future events - why?

I agree that non-members should be able to see any events that are taking place, no point in joining up if you are not convinced that there are ever any events near you. The incentive to join should then come from the reduced entry price.

It might help if all events were included in the next fortnight, not just some of them, and differentiate between "challenge" and "social".

Simon I believe that the idea was to only show events that are coming up in the next fortnight and that if prospective new members liked what they saw they would have to join to get full access. The theory being that as it was only £10 a year to join that would not be deemed as being too expensive.

Why on earth is the future events only available to logged in Members? Potential new members are not going to be tempted to try events they don't know about are they?
