Badenoch Way

Highland

18 km / 11 miles
The Badenoch Way leads from Dalraddy to near Kingussie, following the River Spey for much of the route and passing moorland, farmland and forestry before ending at the RSPB reserve at Invertromie overlooking the Insh Marshes. It provides a natural extension to the Speyside Way.

Ruthven Bridge crosses the River Spey near Kingussie (NN75979978). The bridge is in a very poor condition and the bridge superstructure is about to be replaced. This will require that the bridge is closed to all traffic, including pedestrians, between 29th July 2015 and 11th September 2015. There is no plan to construct a temporary bridge across the Spey.
