Dartmoor Ramble

Devon

79 km / 49 miles
This route was devised to take advantage of the youth hostels at Bellever, Okehampton and Steps Bridge and takes in some of the wildest parts of Dartmoor. The walk visits Belstone, Chagford, North Bovey and Post Bridge.

Route Description and Schematic Maps made available as 'Downloads' by kind permission of Martyn Hanks who designed these routes to encourage walking and use of the 'Youth Hostels' some of which are now sadly closed. However there are other accommodation options where hostels have closed.
