King Arthur Way

Cornwall, Devon, Somerset

The King Arthur Way tells the story of King Arthur, starting at the dramatic sea-castle of Tintagel (the place of Arthur's conception and Merlin's Cave) and culminating in his final resting place, Glastonbury Abbey and the Isle of Avalon. Along the way it takes in key sites relating to his story.
On this journey through South West England you will visit amongst other places, Brent Tor, Dartmoor, including Cosdon Stone Row and Shilley Pool, Cadbury hillfort before finally reaching Glastonbury Tor.
From the King Arthur website there are several alternative options for parts of the route but some of these may be dependent on the weather. Attention should be paid towards the end of the route when preparing to cross the Langport Firing Range - please check details of closures from the Government website.
