Devised by Win King and Richard Fox, this is a circular walk around Guildford. The walk can be divided into 7 stages (the 7 link places being Ripley Green, Clandon, Shere, Bramley, Godalming, Wanborough and Worpleston), and maximum use is made of the four railway stations around Guildford. The walk passes through a range of habitats including ancient woodlands, chalk downland, heathland, meadows and waterways. Participants are invited to report unusual finds to the Surrey Wildlife Trust (info@surreywt.org.uk - mention Fox Way).
