Milton Keynes Boundary Walk

Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

A route around the town boundary through the valleys of the Rivers Tove and Ouse. The landscape includes canal towpath, forest and thatched cottages. There is a link with the Swan's Way at Salcey Forest.

The route is shown on OS mapping. No paper publications are available, however a downloadable PDF is available from MK Ramblers - link below.

Note June 2020 - Milton Keynes Ramblers have provided an updated Route Description (see link). As of now, these minor changes have not been actioned by Ordnance Survey and the LDWA GPX files have not been updated, pending further action.

Update October 2023: The minor road bridge over the M1 and A421 (between Salford Ford and Lower End, to the east of Milton Keynes), which had been closed due to widening of the A421, has been reopened. The Milton Keynes Ramblers Route Description has been updated to reflect this.
