Stour Valley Walk (Kent)

A walk along the valley of the River Stour from the source, passing through a varied landscape, and taking in downland, woodland, orchards, hop gardens, lakes, dykes and marshland, unspoilt villages and historic towns. The remainder of the route traces the old Saxon shoreline of the Wantsum Channel to the important Roman site at Richborough, thence to the ancient Cinque Port of Sandwich.

The original paper publication is out-of-print but used copies may be on Amazon. The Kent County Council website below has detailed mapping.
