Isle of Man

60 km / 37 miles
The Triskelion Way is a route established on the Isle of Man in 2016 through Pilgrimage Isle of Man that now has a guidebook. It links the three main medieval religious foundations on the Isle of Man - Rushen Abbey, St German's Cathedral and Kirk Maughold on a 60km/37 route which has lowland, coastal and hill sections. The route is waymarked and was developed in collaboration with local bodies and with the support of Departments of the Isle of Man Government.

The route is in seven sections, extending from Rushen Abbey in the south to Maughold in the north, via Peel. It offers the pilgrim varied walking conditions, glorious countryside and coastal views and historically significant places, including the spectacular Spooyt Vane waterfall, and 9th century Keeill Pheric (Patrick's chapel). It overlaps with both the Raad ny Foillan (the Isle of Man Coastal Path) and the Millennium Way (Isle of Man).

A walkers' guide to the route was published in 2022 and is listed below. Information is online from Pilgrimage Isle of Man - weblink below.

A triskelion (or triskele, from Greek τρισκελης "three-legged") is a symbol consisting of three bent human legs, or, more generally, three interlocked spirals (joined in such a way that the overall emblem has a threefold rotational symmetry, but no reflection symmetries). This is the symbol representing the Isle of Man.
