Ruthven Bridge crosses the River Spey near Kingussie (NN75979978). The bridge is in a very poor condition and the bridge superstructure is about to be replaced. This will require that the bridge is closed to all traffic, including pedestrians, between 29^th July 2015 and 11^th September 2015. There is no plan to construct a temporary bridge across the Spey.
