The National Executive Committee of the LDWA approved a new Bylaw on 11th July 2015, setting out a revised procedure for the election of officers to the NEC, which is available for inspection in the website Library. The objective of the new Bylaw is to increase the franchise for these elections, by simplifying and modernising the process, and also providing greater transparency to the membership. The new process will be used for the forthcoming NEC election in 2016, for which nominations are now being accepted. A separate news item will appear soon regarding the formal notice.
