Just a quick note to let you know that at the AGM on Sunday

• New Articles of Association for the LDWA were agreed, and will come into effect immediately (with the changes to the elections of National Executive Committee for the 2019 elections)


• Slight increase in subscriptions for 2019 was agreed. The new rates for Individual Membership will be £15 for those paying by Direct Debit and £18 for those paying by cheque or card. Family Membership will be £22.50 for those paying by DD, and £25.50 for those paying by cheque or card. International Membership - with no posted paper Strider, will become £15 and International Membership with Strider will remain at £26 


• New Committee were elected : special welcome to Alan Warrington joining the NEC for the first time as 100s coordinator; welcome back to Tim Glenn who will be looking after Challenge Events, and finally (but obviously not least) welcome to David Morgan in his new role as Chair. The rest of the Committee were re-elected: see the Committee pages for the full list.

Many thanks to Gail Elrick for her time as Chair and prior to that as 100s coordinator; and to David Findel-Hawkins for his work on Challenge Events.

Thanks also to AGM organiser, Bill Fear, to Steph Carter for the walk to the AGM on Friday and to Lincolnshire Group for organising the walks and trip on Saturday.
