Neuadd Bunkhouse is a recently converted 16th-century stone barn beautifully positioned in quiet, secluded countryside with delightful views, its own stream, trout pools and woodland. The barn is situated just 2 miles from the small market town of Rhayader - the gateway to the Elan Valley reservoirs, known as The Lakeland of Wales. The centrally heated barn sleeps 16 in 3 en-suite rooms and includes a fully equipped kitchen/dining room, drying room and facilities for wheelchair users. Rooms are also available in the main house. Situated in kite country, half way between the coast and Offa's Dyke (English border), we offer a comfortable base to explore the magnificent Elan Valley, Upper Wye and Cambrian Mountains. The nearby area offers a wide range of countryside activities including cycling, mountain biking, fishing, pony trekking, canoeing and of course bird watching and walking.
